Rocket Math (“Rocket Math”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). For the purposes of this Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Rocket Math include www.play.rocketmath.com and/or www.admin.rocketmath.com and/or our platform in the form of a mobile application (together, the “Online Tutor”). By accessing or using the Online Tutor, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy.
This Policy describes the type of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the Website and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This Policy applies to information we collect from the Online Tutor.

Rocket Math Online Tutor collects no personally identifiable information, PII for the students who use the game. The owner of the subscription creates a unique username and password for each student, but we have no email or other personally identifiable information for the students.
The owner of the subscription does give us identifiable information so the privacy policies for the website (https://www.rocketmath.com/privacy-policy) apply only to the owner, not to the students, for whom we have no PII.
When schools choose to use CLASSLINK or CLEVER to roster their students we follow their policies–but still do not collect any PII for the students–that information remains behind ClassLink’s and Clever’s firewall and is not shared with us.
Therefore we do not have any PII to share with third parties and have nothing to use to do marketing with. We have no way to contact either students or their parents, let alone give that information to third parties. No one could obtain the PII of any student from the Online Tutor.

The Rocket Math Online Tutor is COPPA compliant. The Rocket Math Online Tutor does not store any PII (personally identifiable information) on students who use it.
Rocket Math does not store personally identifiable information (PII) as described in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. 6501–6505. Children under the age of 13 can access Rocket Math’s Online Tutor, however. In accordance with COPPA, Rocket Math can attest that no children records with direct identifiers such as a child’s name or identification number, parent’s name, or address; and indirect identifiers such as a student’s date of birth, which when linked to or combined with other information can be used to distinguish or trace a child’s identity. IP addresses, usernames and email addresses may be collected for the sole purpose of internal usage reporting. This data is never disclosed publicly and is never used for online contact. Rocket Math complies with all data collection, privacy and security requirements described in COPPA.
